The ATV repeater is need completion. VK2XSO has us all retuning or TV sets in anticipation.

Several members have 23cm ATV set on the bench. and a camera has been mounted at the repeater site for some sunset ATV content.

APRS in the north west is alive and well. New Digi's are being tested around Armidale, with Manilla to be on air in December. Glen Innes, Walcha and Inverell are also on the hit list. HF fox hunting is coming to Tamworth. For plans of a magnetic loop antenna head over the link page and other DF equipment.

Several members have Doppler DF equipment up and running. Bribes and espionage are being considered to obtain the plans to one very interesting looking unit!

The new VK2RMO site is almost finished. With 240(ish) volts now available on the hill top thanks to VK2YGV no Tx is to large!

Wi-Fi links between members will soon be available in Tamworth thanks to the efforts of VK2TDT.

An Edge of Space Balloon launch is planed for spring / summer. The balloon is planed to carry a camera and APRS payload. Have a look at the at our progress here

TRCI has a strong relationship with several of the Scout groups in and around Tamworth. Just some of the scout activities TRCI support are, JOTA/JOTI, VHF HF, APRS & "SPOT" satellite tracking support for bushwalking and camping events, pedestrian fox hunts.
